PIZZA DEMOLISHED

Not a real blog entry.. but I am so proud of myself. I just killed an entire cheese pizza by myself. Now I feel sick. Time to put on the fat pants and chill!

Some things you may not have known about Italy.. and MORE!

#1. Duomo=Church. There are about a million of them (on per major city)--all dedicated to the Virgin Mary. #2. Women ride mopeds and motorcycles here... IN HEELS. #3. Italy--The trip from Stuttgart and Day 1

So, you can't like backtrack on this thing so I will be starting this blog with Saturday (My first day in Milano woohooo) and working my way up until today (Hope you're ready to read a ton). I will fill you in on the other parts of my trip in between as well but for now I'm just going to update you on the last few days. First thought: For the first time out of the country, this Eurotrip has been INSANE. Already I feel that I have learned and seen so much more than I could have ever imagined. Culture shock hit me more in a way of "hey these places don't look like they do in the movies" and "wow, all I know how to say is Cheers! (London), Merci (Paris), Danke (Germany) and Graaaaatzi (said in slow Southern drawl)". Realizing my limited vocabulary and language skills in ALL of the countries I have visited has given me a sudden spark under my ass to want to pick up with a language again (preferably German, since that was the most I could understand). Rant Blog--If you don't want to hear me complain, are easily offended or simply think I have nothing to complain about-- continue on to next few blogs

Okay, so I am going to start with today (Monday), and rant because there comes that time in every traveler's journey that they just want to punch everyone in the face for any little thing or break down and ball like a five year old because of the most miniscule problem. Well, after four weeks and 5 countries (not to mention multiple cities), this is that time for me. First off, everything is annoying me, and I mean everything. For starters, what is happening RIGHT THIS SECOND. I came into a study room to 1. Get some peace and quiet 2. write these blogs and 3. take some time for myself.. and (of course).. in walks the cleaning lady. Now don't get me wrong, it's totally cool that she wants to clean and all, but she walks into the room and her ANNOYING ring tone (that echos through the room) goes off, she picks it up after the 5th or so ring and continues to talk in as loud of a voice as possible, in Italian, inside the study room.
